Updates for y'all
Hi everyone!! Sorry I haven't sent an email in a while! Things have been going so good here in Sacramento! A couple weeks ago we had zone conference and that was really awesome! It was so cool to see all the other missionaries and learn from them and from my mission president and his wife! It was amazing and so motivating! Then we got to see Old Town Sacramento a couple p-days ago and that was really cool! There were a lot of cool shops there and we saw the bridge and a little more of downtown Sac and that's been really fun! Then we did exchanges and our STLs this transfer have been really sweet so it was fun to get to know them better and also do English work for a couple days. I really like the branch I'm serving in though! My companions this transfer have been amazing! Hermana Charles is going home this week and thats kinda sad because she's an amazing missionary and she has taught me so much! Something good though is that I still get to stay in Rancho Cordova for this next transfer and I still get to be companions with Hermana Macievic who is also amazing! There have also been so many miracles lately and that's been really cool to see! The other day this lady that we had never even met found one of our pass along cards and reached out to us asking to meet and when we met with her she was totally willing to listen to our message and the spirit was so strong! We gave her a Book of Mormon and asked her if there was anything we could do and she told us to come back! Then we have another friend who we thought didn't want to talk to us anymore but we found out when we went to see his family that he broke his phone and so we were able to teach him some more and when we talked to him about coming to church on Sunday and preparing for baptism since he usually works on Sundays, he told us that he had already talked to his boss and asked for weekends off! It will be so exciting to see him at church finally! We also had a member take us to panda express the other day and that was really fun! The people here are so generous! We also had a fun district pday today and we had a bakeoff so that was really fun! My companions and I made mint oreo truffles and they slapped! Anyways, lots and lots of miracles! I am genuinely so grateful that I get to be serving here in Sacramento and that I get to be serving a mission and that the people here are so ready and willing to hear the gospel! It's also been really cool to see God answering prayers too! It's also been awesome to see the support of members in the branch and just how nice everyone's been! Things haven't been perfect all the time but I feel like I have so much to be grateful for! Anyways I probably left out a lot of things because I genuinely forgot a lot of things that have happened these past couple weeks but that's my update for yall!
