Santo espiritu

 What is up everyone! I didn't think I was going to send an email today but I decided to anyways. This week has been pretty good! Some days were kinda rough honestly but it's been pretty good for the most part. My comp is amazing, everyone in my branch is so nice, and God is so good!

 

We're teaching this one lady and I don't know if I mentioned her before but her name's Rosefina and she is such a tender soul! We've been teaching her twice a week and she loves to meet with us! She has a hard time reading because she doesn't really have a lot of education and she has vision and memory issues but she reads a chapter of the Book of Mormon before all our visits! She is also really sweet and she grows a lot of pretty flowers in our yard! Our other friends have been ghosting us and it's been kinda sad pero está bien. 

We had this one crazy experience where we saw a man walking outside of his car and my companion and this prompting to go talk to him but he was kind of far ahead and was walking really fast. She decided to run after him and I thought she was crazy but then we caught up to him but he was not interested at all. But then we saw this one lady get out of the car and we had exactly what she was looking for. She was looking for a greater sense of truth and had been searching and looking at a bunch of different religions. Then we read a little in the book of mormon with her and she was so impacted by the short line we read and couldn't imagine what the rest of the book would be like. The espiritu santos really led that contact! It was so cool!

We had exchanges this week too. They were so crazy! I went with Sister Estes to the English area and it was so fun but so much happened! We went to visit a recent convert and we saw all his stuff in front of his house and we found out he went to prison. Then we drove home after to get lunch and we saw a car accident happen right in front of us. It was crazy! It was like a hit and run and the whole thing was so scary. Then we got a call from the manager of the apartment complex basically telling us we were moving within the next 30 days but then we found out later in the week that we're not actually moving. Then we had this really crazy lesson that went on for like an hour and a half and the stories he told were so crazy! It was a good day though and I learned a lot! Sister Estes is an amazing missionary!

Anyways things have just been pretty good if you're wondering! The weather is really nice too and we've been trying to walk a little more when we can and we've been going to a lot of parks. It's been pretty nice! Teaching has been slow and there's been a couple disappointments and stressful things but God is in the details and I know that His plan for all of us is perfect!
